Our holiday cottage was built in 2007 and lies in the valley of the Nagyhomoród river at an altitude of 740-760 m in Homoródfürdő (Baile Homorod), a small holiday village not far away from the main cities of the so called “Székely” land, a specific, Hungarian populated ethnographic region of Transylvania. In a fairy tale place, surrounded by pine woods and beautiful mountains, all those seeking a quiet restful holiday will find ideal conditions for their stay.Built from high standard and natural materials, the quality of the house fits the needs of the most pretentious travellers. With a Mediterranean style inside arranging the house presents up-to-date and modern installations, all serving the quiet, careless and restful, but enjoyable holiday of its visitors.At the same time, due to its central location the cottage is an ideal starting point for tours discovering the “Székely” land and the Western Carpathians.
Homoródfürdő (Baile Homorod) holiday village is lying by the side of the recently renovated an good quality 13A national road, linking the major cities of Székely land, 18 km far away of Székelyudvarhely (Odorheiu Secuiesc) and at a 31 km distance from Csíkszereda (Miercurea Ciuc). It is an easy to approach summer and winter holiday place, with many special and country-wide famous mineral water springs on its territory.

Mineral water springs: There are altogether 6mineral water springs in Homorodfürdő: the biggest “Lobogó” spring with an outcome of 20 l/min, the Homoród, Vészfaroki, Mária(outcome: 4 l/min), Ilona and Csorgó springs.
On the ground level of the houseright besides the entrance there is a 9 sqm lobby with open fireplace, which can be an ideal place for family talks on long winter evenings. In the very large (40 sqm) living roomwith
Mediterranean arcades you’ll find a large and restful sofa, an armchair, big size family table with wooden chairs, a TV set (showing 73 cable TV channels, Romanian and Hungarian channels but also international news channels like BBC or CNN), a darts corner and even a foldable table tennis desk for inside enjoyment. Nearby, in the stone floored kitchengas and electronic cooking plates, microwave oven, big size refrigeratorand complete modern kitchen tools, cutlery and quality table-ware are at your disposal. From the lobby you can find the entrance to our lower bathroom and the wellness block of the house, in which a Jacuzziand a Finnish sauna is serving the perfect relaxation of your body.
On the first floor of the house there is also a small lounge with a TV set, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms are equipped with modern and comfortable furniture made from wood, with changing Mediterranean colours will provide quiet rest and conditions for really sweet dreams.

-OurDrab-white room is equipped with two single beds.
The two rooms are served by a bathroom.
- The other two bedrooms are paintedapple-green-white and are equipped with king size respectively two single beds, also served by a separate bathroom.
From those rooms you can exit to a large terrace overlooking the courtyard and the garden, and also providing a breath-taking panorama of the surrounding mountains, as well.
The family apartment provides comfortable housing for 9-11 guests.
Our small apartment on the ground level with separate entrance consists of a large living room with a big extendablecorner sofa , and a well equippedkitchen with electric cooking plates. From the living room you can access a small cubicle with queen size bed and a small bathroom.

The house has a large garden covered with grass and a courtyard with gravel parking places for cars. The open air cooking isprovided by stone built grill fireplace and another open fireplace, as well. High quality wooden furniture is also available in the garden. Right in front of the garden over the road there is a grass covered private sport ground surrounded with fence at the exclusive use of our guests. The ground is equipped for basketball and football, but also provides possibilities to try traditional archery or air rifle practice. .
The safe parking of the cars is provided by the closed courtyard of the house.
Heating of the house is assured by modern central heating system, so it is suitable for winter stays and easily reachable in winter time. During the winter from November to March you’ll always find here crystal clear snow and a fairy tale atmosphere, so with the quality skiing possibilities nearby a fantastic winter holiday is guaranteed.

Family apartment
Our base price in case of a minimum occupation of 5 adults: 12 EUR/person/night
Base price in case of occupation with less than 5 adults: 60 EUR/night
Usage prices of the wellness block (Jacuzzi, Sauna):
-Unlimited use: 3 EUR/person/night
-Occasional use: 18 EUR/occasion (3 hours)
Small apartment
Rent price is 36 EUR/night, irrespectively of the number of guests.
# During special periods(Eastern, Christmas, the Pilgrimage of Csíksomlyó - Whit Monday) we apply an additional charge of 15% from the base price. During New Years Eve the additional charge is 25% of the base price!!
# Children not older than 2 years coming with the family stay free! For children to 2-12 years we provide a discount of 50% from our base prices.
# In case of bigger groups (minimum 10 persons) after 10 days we offer a discount of 10% from the base price.
Now for all guests reserving at least 7 days stay we offer a free fruit basket and a welcome drink at arrival (Transylvanian homemade brandy, vine, beer or Champaign)!!
Our base prices include the full rent of the apartments, usage of the installations of the house (except wellness block), usage of water, electricity, heating, fire-wood, final cleaning, and we provide a weekly change of the bed linen. Base price also includes the usage of the grill and open fireplace in the garden, the table tennis and darts and the usage of the sports ground, as well. Parking is free in the closed courtyard.
The prices do NOT include food supply and we can not offer served meals (breakfast or dinner). For those guests who are not settled for self food service we recommend the restaurant of the Lobogó Pension situated at only a few hundred meters from the cottage, providing good quality and cost-effective food services.
